SAIA Terminal – Indianapolis, IN

D.F. Chase was selected to construct a new 30-acre facility for SAIA Motor Freight in Indianapolis, Indiana. This new facility serves as a major hub for the northeastern region.  The office area is two stories with regional offices on the second floor and the 150-door terminal dock has an associated dock office for service.  The facility also includes fuel service and shop servicing for all the surrounding SAIA terminals. The construction timeline was set at 8 months from start to finish due to fact that SAIA’s rental lease was to expire.  D.F. Chase started construction on January 15, 2019 and achieved a certificate of occupancy for the facility on September 5, 2019.
