Presidential Suites at Gaylord Palms Resort
Kissimmee, Florida
D.F. Chase contracted with the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center to completely gut and rebuild nine presidential suites. This project consists of three Vista suites, four Hemingway suites, and two Grand Presidential suites. Descriptions of the suites are listed below:
The Vista Suite has a young, fresh vibe with an art deco influence. Upon entering the suite, the “wow” of the 180˚ view over sunny Orlando is breathtaking. The suite’s cheerful yellow, gray and white color scheme is accented with vibrant pops of coral, turquoise and magenta. The soft retro curves of the furnishings paired with the glamorous mirrored bed and shagreen tables create a feeling of luxury.
The design of the Hemingway Suite was influenced by the well-traveled author Ernest Hemingway. The suite feels like a luxurious home full of soft, comfortable furnishings paired with an incredible art collection. The backdrop of warm textures, sun bleached woods and woven rattan lighting are accented with vintage teals and oranges. While this open feeling Suite is ideal for entertaining, it is also the perfect intimate escape with a lovely view of the palm trees.
The Grand Presidential Suite, the largest of all the suites, includes a 14-seat dining table and large bar, a pool table, a private fitness area, office, and a second bedroom. Perfect for entertaining, the Grand Presidential is full of furnishings and lighting inspired by the classic hotels of vintage Florida. The luxurious color palette features oranges and creams with dramatic accents of bright greens, pinks and charcoals. The suite offers an amazing art collection, including photo-realism, abstract, and photography. The master bedroom suite has a softer feel with light aquamarine, cream accents and warm gray textures. This opulent suite is the perfect blend of comfortable and dramatic.
