Johnson Controls Seat Assembly Plant Addition

Madison, Mississippi

The project consisted of a 48,000 square foot addition to an operating, automobile seat assembly plant that serves the nearby Nissan facility. The addition had to be designed and build-ready for the installation of equipment in three winter months. Utilities and compressed air services had to be relocated while maintaining the “just-in-time” delivery capacity that the plant required. In addition to the production area, locker, lavatory, office, cafeteria, and kitchen areas were constructed.
