D.F. Chase recently completed the 31,000 square foot Tennessee headquarters for Shelter Mutual Insurance Company. The project is located in the Toll Gate Village development of Thompson’s Station. This project consists of a structural steel frame with brick and precast stone veneer. The building was completed on time and under budget.
This 70,000 square foot expansion is an addition to the corporate headquarters for The Rawlings Group, a pharmaceutical and insurance benefits’ management firm in Louisville. This project, the second of a seven-building corporate campus in Oldham County, Kentucky, broke ground in March 2015. This expansion contains a three-story addition with a two-story connector, and features a white pre-cast and glass exterior.
This design-build project is a 24,000 square foot corporate headquarters for Windham Professionals, Inc. The project includes site development of four acres and has been built to achieve LEED certification. This building includes a 10,000 square foot call center to house over 300 employees. The project was completed in six months.
D.F. Chase, Inc. constructed a 12,587 square foot two-story office space with lower level basement for the Tennessee Association of Realtors. The building takes into account many “green building” concepts to include geothermal heating and cooling, low VOC interior finishes, porous concrete, and bio-retention areas for water quality. Unique features of the building include galvanized millennium siding and utility size arriscraft brick. D.F. Chase, Inc. has constructed the building with all provisions necessary to add an additional third floor for future use.
This new ground-up facility is a 16,000 square foot insulated, precast concrete exterior steel frame building designed for the extreme climate changes and harsh winters of Northwest North Dakota. The building is designed as the main combination data center for phone/cable TV/internet distribution center and also set up for vehicle servicing and fleet washing as well as office and field technician work spaces for the western region of this utility provider’s territory. The building was designed to provide communications’ services to the government and for private users and to handle communications for the rapid growth of the oil field industry of the Bakkan Shale area. The facility has state-of-the-art HVAC systems with in-floor radiant heating, multiple hot water boiler systems, back-up generator, water treatment systems, as well as special CRAC HVAC systems and a clean agent fire suppression system for the critical services areas of the facility. The project includes a special underground vault and multiple large conduit system banks that are deep in the ground to be below the frost depth. The project was completed on time and under budget in 120 days from breaking ground until final completion.
Bedford Place is a mixed-use development in the Green Hills area of Nashville, Tennessee. It is a 51,000 square foot concrete frame and brick veneer with underground secured parking. The project functions as a mixed-use building that houses four retail tenants at street level and eight luxury condominium units on the second and third floors. The condos combine the highest end of luxury residential finishes with a desirable location in the heart of Green Hills. In addition, the roof is equipped with a terrace garden to provide a panoramic view of the area.
The Beaman Toyota project consists of a two-story 26,000 square foot showroom and sales offices’ building which meets Toyota’s “green” initiative. The project achieved LEED certification from the United States Green Building Council per LEED for New Construction 2.2. The project also consists of extensive renovations to the dealership parking and inventory display areas.
This project consists of construction of a one-story 5,300 square foot retail building shell with finished restrooms and mechanical room. The building structure is constructed from structural steel and metal studs with a brick and EIFS veneer. A TPO membrane roof with four HVAC rooftop units were also installed. A complete landscape package and irrigation system with new paving completes the site for the new AT&T retail store.
D.F. Chase was awarded the task of performing an interior/ exterior renovation of the existing Andrew’s Cadillac dealership, which was required by GM to bring the facility up to the vehicle manufacturer’s current standards. The interior renovation includes a complete new light fixture package, all new finishes and modifications to the existing spaces to make the space work more efficiently for the owner. D.F. Chase removed the existing showroom entry and built a new customer entry which creates a main “focal point” for customers to be directed into the newly renovated showroom. Added on the opposite side of the showroom is a new car delivery canopy, an area designated specifically for owners picking up their new vehicle. The entire exterior of the dealership is cladded with a specialized limestone panel system for a rich, elegant and updated look creating visual stimulation for the dealership. All work was completed without any interruption of daily dealership operations, allowing the client to stay focused on the task at hand, selling cars.
This new construction consists of a 39,677 square foot, three-story office space. The concrete framed shell space building features brick masonry exteriors, two elevators, stairways, bathrooms, and finished corridors and common areas. Additionally, the work includes structural concrete foundation and post-tensioned concrete framing, civil utility and site work.
