Opryland Hotel Nashville, LLC selected D.F. Chase, Inc. to renovate the dining facilities on the Delta Island Area of the hotel. Water’s Edge is a 15,000 square foot buffet style restaurant located in the hotel’s largest atrium. The 350 seat restaurant boasts granite countertops, ornamental metalwork, custom glass tile mosaics and slate-floor. Stax, a burger place, is 2,000 square feet, and its features include stainless steel trim, smooth Venetian plaster walls, as well as curved veneer ceiling soffits. The pizzeria, Paisano’s, produces old world charm with aged walnut flooring and matching ceiling beams, curved granite countertops, Venetian plaster walls, and a specialty metal wine rack. Also included in this extensive renovation were completely new kitchens for every restaurant. All of this was accomplished on an accelerated schedule without interrupting normal hotel operations. The project was completed in four months from start to finish.
